A) Keith Beauchamp and Stanley Nelson both played major roles in the support of re-opening  the Emmett Till trial. Keith Beauchamp became obsessed with the story ever since he had seen poor Emmett’s mangled body in the Jet Magazine. Beauchamp traveled around the country showing an unfinished documentary to lots of people. Stanley Nelson who got an Emmy for his prize winning film “The Murder of Emmett Till” which was seen by thousand of people. It broadcasted in 2003, and gained a lot of attention.

C) Mamie Till made a very brave and courageous decision in regards to her son’s funeral. Not many people could have done this, but she felt it had to be done. Mamie decided to make her son’s funeral public and that the casket and/or coffin be left open. Thousands of people saw Emmett Till’s mangled body. Mamie Till made a good decision because she felt that people needed to see what had been done horribly to her poor son Emmett.

D) When Keith Beauchamp started researching the Emmett Till murder case Mrs.Mobley said something to him. she said, ‘Your about to grad a rattlesnake by the tail.” Keith had grown up close to Mrs.Mobley. He although knew this was going to be hard, as Mrs.Mobley said, but he continued to stay strong and work hard. He was passionate about the Emmett Till murder and would do whatever it took to help the case.
